The 2008 Miss You Can Do It Pageant will be held in Kewanee, Illinois on july 26, 2008. Young women from any United States location ages 5-25 with special needs and challenges can enter. Each girl will compete by age group in private interview, casual wear, evening gown, and on-stage question. Photogenic and congeniality awards will also be given.

Each girl will receive a trophy, a t-shirt and gift bag for participating. Entry fee is $50.

Judges for this year's pageant include Miss America 1975, Shirley Barrett;
Miss Iowa USA 1997 and Host of From Emeril's Kithen and SheDiddyStyle, Shawn

Brennan Byers ~ Johnny Depp Bracelet
Auction

Los angeles based Artist Brennan Byers designed
the signature bracelet renowned actor Johnny Depp
wears in photographs and interviews. Byers also
outfitted Depp and cast in all of the leather work for
Disney's Pirates of the Carribean movie series.

will be auctioned off to the highest bidder to raise funds
for the Miss You Can Do It Pageant's non-profit

Abbey wore the bracelet on the "Ellen DeGeneres Show"
on April 16, 2008 and Ellen loved the item. Abbey gave
her bracelet as a gift to Ellen so you may see a photo of
her wearing it as well. Ellen interviewed Abbey about her
reign as Miss Iowa USA 2008 and
